What actions do the Void, Refund, and Partial Refund perform?

VOID
The Void button cancels a transaction prior to settling at the payment gateway. In Salesforce, it simply changes the Transaction Type from Charge or Authorize to Void.

REFUND
The Refund button refunds a transaction that has previously settled at the payment gateway, within the allowable window for credits (typically 60-120 days). In Salesforce, it creates a new Transaction record with Type=Refund and a negative amount.

PARTIAL REFUND
The Partial Refund button refunds a portion a transaction that has previously settled at the payment gateway, within the allowable window for credits (typically 60-120 days). A popup window appears where the user can enter the Amount to be refunded, not to exceed the original transaction. Multiple Partial Refunds can be made, but cannot exceed the total of the original transaction. In Salesforce, it creates a new Transaction record with Type=Refund and a negative amount.
