How do I process a payment using the Chargent Terminal device?

If you don't already have Chargent Terminal installed in your Salesforce Org, you can download it from the Salesforce AppExchange.

Once you have Chargent Terminal installed and added to your Page Layout you will have the ability to enter a Charge Amount and send it to the Terminal.

From the Chargent Terminal the customer will then be asked to insert their credit card, sign the screen, and choose a receipt option.

The transaction is then sent back to Salesforce and processed as an Authorization until the nightly batch settles.
