Settling the batch with your Chargent Terminal

The Chargent Terminal system is designed to auto-settle, ensuring that no transactions are missed from a day’s business.  This is the modern, safe way to handle settlement that ensures that less humans are involved, ensuring less mistakes. If you received your device directly from AppFrontier then it is already setup for auto-settlement.  If you received your terminal from another one of our partners, please call that partner to ensure you are setup for auto-settlement.


Auto Settlement just requires a few basic items:

  • Keep the Chargent Terminal powered on (Do not shut the terminal down.)
  • Place the terminal on the charging cradle
  • Connect the cradle directly to the Internet via an ethernet cable
