Credentials you provided are not valid. Please check and try again.

If you're setting up your Payment Gateway using the Setup Wizard and receiving the error message "Credentials you provided are not valid. Please check and try again." this means you most likely are either using your live gateway credentials in a Sandbox test account or your test Sandbox credentials in your Production account.

If you are confident that you are using the correct credentials but still receiving the same message then you should check your Remote Site settings in Salesforce to make sure the site is active.
