Error when setting up Chargent Anywhere: The custom field name you provided 'xxx' on object Chargent Order can only contain alphanumeric characters

When you configure Chargent Anywhere, you need to map the it to a specific object in order to configure Chargent Anywhere.  If you have custom fields with special characters (most often a hyphen) it will throw an error and won't allow you to continue the configuration.  This is because Chargent is attempting to add a lookup field and the special character is preventing it.

In this case you will want to remove the special character from your field name, save it, then finish the configuration.  Once you finish configuring Chargent Anywhere it should be safe to add it back to the field name.  As always, Chargent recommends testing your updates to make sure everything is working as expected.
